front sway bar issues..

so I have a bmr front sway bar on my 93 z28. along with the rest of the bmr front suspension, and my sway bar is rubbing against the harmonic balancer. any thoughts as of why and how to fix it???

Re: front sway bar issues..

The stock bar has the center section dropped down about 2" to clear the damper. Does the BMR have a similar shape? Could you post a picture?

Re: front sway bar issues..

Do you have the BMR tubular K-member and tubular A-arms?

I looked at a picture of the front of my 94 when it still had a stock swaybar on it, and there's a lot of clearance. I have an ATI damper, which is slightly smaller in diameter than the stock damper.

It may be possible that if the end links are too short, it would rotate the lowered section of the bar upwards slightly. Just a thought.

Re: front sway bar issues..

yea I have the full front suspension done, all bmr. so if the end links are too short then that's their screw up lol I have yet to hear back from them so only time will tell. I gotta pull the motor anyways due to a headgasket leak
