I seem to have a lot of play in my steering wheel. The car fels like it has more play than I'd like in the front end as well. It's still got less that 80K on it, but it's been driven pretty hard. What should I look at to tighten up the front end a bit, and will it help with the play in the steering wheel, or is that a different issue? I have very limited suspension experience, so bear with me.

 

Check the rag joint near the middle of the steering shaft.

Then tie rod ends, ball joints ect.

OK, I'll take a look. I'm not real sure what I'm looking for, but I should be able to figure it out, I think. I'm not as dumb as I look.
