how tight do i tighten poly endlinks for the rear of my 3rd gen?

Should be the same as on 4thgens. 16 lb/ft

m chiltons book says about 12 for the rubber endlinks, and i would figure poly would be stiffer, but waaay before i get to 12 the bushings get squished and fall off the washers so i feel like something is wrong

anyone have poly endlinks? did the bushings slip off the washers?

12 is right if that's what you have in the manual. I was just going by memory.
I do have polyurethane bushings all around and mine also did the same thing.
