curb HOpping?? steering arm bent?

curb HOpping?? steering arm bent?

I have a 95 z28 and last nite i was F'ing around when my car came out of a skid and over corrected right into a curb, somehow my car went over the median but when i went to drive away, the front tires started to sreetch....um so my alignment was off, and i was told that the something in the steering arm got bent ?? umm what do i do?? any ideas? where i can get a steering arm from or if this cant be fixed or something?? thanx

wow, i cant believe how many people have done this.....myself included , although i didnt bend anything. And what do you mean by steering arm?

MY steering wheel was turned half rotation upside down when it would be going straight...i had someone take a look at the alignment and he said that the steering arm had been bent and i would have to get it fixed somehow before he could do the alignment?? i have no idea what this means

The best thing I can tell you is to replace both tie rod ends, then replace the steering knuckle on the side of the car that made the hardest contact with the median. You can purchase a used steering knuckle from www.tacreationsusa.com
