Calipers

I was going through wilwood's site today and i came across their caliper section. I was wondering if anybody knew if there is an upgrade to the ls1 calipers. There has to be something out there like this, they have a ton of different calipers and sizes. Has anybody ever tried this or heard of an upgrade to the LS1 calipers, while keeping the stock sized rotors and equipment?

I think, that if possible, this might be a great way to upgrade without spending a ton of money.

Re: Calipers

several junk yard sell ls1 brake conversions did on my car then replaced the rotors with eradispeeds. brakes work great and the conversions is under 400 bucks with stock rotors. it is a pretty popular mod.

Re: Calipers

I am referring to the caliper itself. I had in mind to go with the eradispeeds but am leaning towards the powerslot rotors more because of the price. Does anybody know if you can replace the calipers?

Thanx anyway slp223.
By the way how great of an improvement are the eradispeeds and what other upgrades did you do to your brake system?

Re: Calipers

The only "upgrade" would be a 4 or 6 piston caliper set-up.
