The best canyon carving suspension setup.

I decided to get a transam over the vette, (due to price). I really want a car that handles well. Does anyone make a full suspension package for the F-bodies? I really want this thing to be able to pull atleast .92 on the skid pad. It will be a socal canyon carver and maybe an autox'er. Any help would on suspension components would be greatly appreciated. If there is already a thread about this please link it to me. I didnt really find anything on search.

Or maybe a site that is dedicated to f-body handling that discuss's the in-n-outs of these cars. My friends all have lotus's, and while I know i will never get that performance out of the f-body, I would like to get as close as I can.

Talk to Sam Strano, he'll tell you everything you need to know. You'll also want to upgrade your brakes if you want your suspension to perform to it's fullest.

dont Fbodies pull nearly .9 on the skidpad anyway??

GOOD tires
springs
Koni SA shocks
lca
phb
sfc
sway bars

that should pretty much take care of it

I hear the G2 Super Springs are supposed to be pretty good.

Sam Strano says he's gonna be making his own springs soon... those sound promising.

Re: The best canyon carving suspension setup.

I think they pull like .87 or something. I would love to be able to hit 1g. Does stano have a site or something.

Thanks for the answers

Thanks for the Fbody site, that was exactly what I looking for.

BTW if you are looking for me.... here I am (I have to change my screen name)

Please note that g numbers are worth very little in terms of how a car actually handles. Like saying a car can go 170 mph, but it only runs 0-60 in 10 seconds. What good is that?
