ABS Delete!
 

Just wondering has anyone took the ABS off of there F-bodys? I am taking it off mine cause it's pretty much gonna be a race car. How hard is it gonna be?

Do a search on bogart wheels, the place that sells them (sjm manufacturing or somethin like that) sells a kit that comes with and abs delete and line lock all in one.

My car has abs but the headers melted one of the wires so it doesn't work. I've never notice i was always taught to pump the brakes.

Mine will be coming off and i'm gonna add a proportioning valve to fix the brakes. I believe it wouldnt be to hard to take off when the engine will be outta the car.

That's the kit I have. The biggest recommendation that I can give is that you remove the hardlines from the car to flare them as it is really tight in there if you don't.

For the price, you drop 15 or so pounds and get a line lock out of the deal. I was very happy with the Mod and would do it again on a car that is raced alot.

I agree. I have the same kit with the propvalve and line lock. Couldn't be happier. It was a pain to install since i did all the flairing with the hardlines left mounted in the car. :alert: Dont do that. lol.
