'02 SS Springs

What kind of front springs came on an '02 SS, what is the spring rate?

Someone is giving me a set, and I was going to use them as a drop spring on my 95 Trans Am, but I'm only going to use them if they are a stiffer spring.

Not worth the change. They'll drop, but only because the LT1 is heavier than the LS1

That's what I thought, but I thought maybe the SS used stiffer springs than the Z28.

I beleive that's correct. I don't have the spring rates, though. Anyone?

I thought they were the 1LE Springs. The main reason why the SS handles better is b/c of the 32mm sway bar up front.

Wider, lower-profile tires help too.

Amen,

Yeah I got the 1LE SB up front (32mm). Poly Bushings all around on the end links and Pro-Kit. Car handles pretty damn well.
