I need a helmet for the track, I know it's a stretch but any help from the vendors??

 

we can order Bell or Simpson. what are you looking for as far as type of helmet? also color choice is limited to white.

 

I'm noy looking for anything fancy, and white would be fine. I just need a legal helmet for nhra sub 11.99. I have seen the simpson helmets and they are nice but they look out of my price range. What do the bell helmets range from?

 

White?!? Damn, there goes my pink and lavendor color theme. I guess white can work

I just would need one that is legal for 13's at the track, I'm not sure if my dirtbike helmet is approved.

low end helmets are going to run about $250.00 plus shipping it looks like. I am still checking out all of the available models.

 

do you have to have a cetain helmet? because just about any motorcycle shop has helmets for 100.00

Do I need a helmet, and if so, what kind?
A helmet is required for the driver of any car or truck running 13.99 seconds or quicker in the quarter mile, and for the rider of any motorcycle. Most drivers can use a helmet meeting SNELL M85, M90, M95, SA85, SA90, SA95 or K98 specifications. Professional category and some alcohol burning vehicles require an SA rated helmet.

Most tracks require an SA rated helmet for road course or autocross racing as well.

snell 2000 approved so all tracks will be fine. i got mine in pearl, it looks and feels GREAT!
