I want to trade my chrome ZR1 wheels for another type of wheel, probably either chrome Z 5-spokes + cash or SS 10-spokes + cash. The tires on my wheels are 315 nitto DRs on the rear w/ about 35% tread left. The front tires are 275 ZR Hankooks w/ probably 65% left. I paid $800 for the wheels and another $500 for the tires less than a year ago. I'm only trading because I'm looking for a different look and possibly to lighten up the car a bit. I'd like to keep this fairly local so we could just meet up and swap the wheels in person. Post up and/or PM with what you have.

i'm thinking about the swap...i'd be driving up. wonder if i'd need to do any fender well clearancing before i drove back or if i could just wait, as long as i took it easy on curves.

I have a set of silver 16x8 split 5 spokes and a set of 16x8 Chrome 97+ 5 spokes with some 30% tread tires if you are interested. Also have several sets of salad shooters too.

 

I'm really looking for something with fairly new tires if possible.

You will have to grind down the bumpstops on your car to get them to fit. I did on my 98 and 01 cars.

 

hm...

could i just remove the bumpstops for the trip, since i have no idea how much to grind them down? then do it when i get home?

been doing some thinking...

i may decide to drive my beater car up to st pete for the work conference i have to attend. that would leave me free to drive all the way to orlando for the rims after.

this means that i could either meet you thurs nite (probably kindda late) or early friday morning.

would this work out better?? i also wouldn't have to worry about messing with the bump stops till i got home and mounted the rims. one less hassle to figure out.
