street racing accident on red bug lake road tuesday night
just saw it on the news... its a "breaking story" ... from the pictures it looks like some mustang was racing some other car, smashed into an innocent car. the mustang looks like it was torn in half, the other car that was racing ran away but then he turned himself in.
the kid who ran is 17 years old. no details on the other drivers or what this 17 year old was driving. people on tv said 4 injured 3 seriously.
great. here comes another crackdown...

Drag racing is suspected in a Casselberry, Fla., crash that left four people in critical condition late Tuesday, according to Local 6 News.
Police said that two cars were speeding down Red Bug Lake Road at about 9 p.m. at a high rate of speed when one of the vehicles slammed into a third vehicle driven by a 26-year-old woman.
Witnesses said that the teens in the speeding cars were street racing before the wreck, Local 6 News reported.
The suspected drag racer who avoided the collision fled the scene but later turned himself into police.
The other driver -- a 16 year old -- was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with his two passengers.

Red Bug Lake is open again and police will continue interviewing people and investigating this crash. Families around there say two cars were racing when all this happened, but so far police will only say speeding was involved.
Casselberry Police say a Mustang and an Acura were side-by-side one another, speeding east on Red Bug Lake Road. The drivers are both teenagers, 16 and 17.
At Eagle Circle, a 26-year-old woman in a Camry was turning into her subdivision at Lago Vista. Witnesses say she had no time to get out of the way. She had to cut out of her car.
So far, we've only been told four people are in critical condition, including the 16-year-old driver of the Mustang and two other juveniles in that car. The 26-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital.
Police say no charges will be filed until they're done investigating. Families say speeding there has been a problem for some time.
