I wanted to know if there are some of you out there interested in getting together and putting some footage on vid to share with our F-Body hombres. I'm not a whiz in the vid but I'm sure we can find someone who can edit the footage. I've seen the Havoc vid and Motown Muscle...Those where pretty good. So anyone in the Dade/Broward/Palm Beach area respond if interested and we can coordinate times and places to film the footage.

I did a video that ended up being just over 9 mins long, but I haven't found anyplace to host it yet, since it is about 90 megs in size in mpeg format, in good quality. I did not shrink it any so I know it can smaller in size. Motown muscle is a group that directly lol competes with street lethal performance, which I am a member of.
Those guys know I have done video work, I'm a film graduate.

if you mean 8gb of bandwidth........that will be gone pretty fast.......once you post a video for download, it spreads to all the other forums (if its any good) and its crazy how much bandwidth you use........last time i put a new vid up on my site, i used 60gb in less than 10 days and got shut down.

well..........it depends on what size the video is.......

right now he says its 90mb

8gb divided by 90mb = about 90 downloads before youre out of bandwidth..........if the video is popular, that goes pretty quick., but assume we can compress it to 50mb.

if we can compress it to 50mb, you would get about 160 downloads from 8gb.

 

Well I think awhile back when I made the first encoding, I could make it as small as 33 megs or so, but the bitrate pretty much was pixelated, like 500 bits/sec and like a 320x240 resolution.

mine right now is in video cd format mpeg format, 1150 bits/sec and is very clean even at full screen. It is the format i use on Video cd encoding for video cd's I make to play on dvd players. I can shrink it and let you know the size, I'll see what it will do tonight and see if i can make a small copy of it....

Just have to find a way to email/upload it somewhere not sure what the limit is on the broadband email service for uploads...

I appreciate all the the help guys, I assure you the preview is nothing compared to the full... I'm gonna start collecting footage for number two which should be twice as good since I'm nuttier now lol..
