That is cool.... I am amazed how much faster your ride is verse John's.. John runs 16's with more mods than you and the same miles on his car. He has 3.08 and you have 3.23...

For a Stock 3800 those are killer times.... Persoanlly I think it is more your ability to drive a stick. You can work it.. Lots of late night pratice I bet.

a buddy of mine just ran a 14.9@91.5 tonight...

he has a 97 v6 3.8 auto with 3.08 gears... the only mods he has done:

custom cold air
2400 stall
flowmaster muffler
!serpentine belt

with those little mods and the colder air, he went 14.9.
hell he had never tried it with the serpentine belt off before.
he took it off and it actually gave him like 2mph...

Well well. Ran faster than your old car, and a lot quieter too. And not to mention its not in parts and pieces. I say you came out with a good deal. Nice numbers.

Damn Eric, that's awesome! I bet you were excited to get that slip! Doesn't it suck though when you run your best on the first run and then you can't run quite the same the rest of the night? That used to happen to me, it was kinda frustrating cause you want to keep running better, but instead you get the good one done at the beginning and the rest goes downhile

Either way, Congrats!!!

yeha it did I am usually the other way around and improve for the night, but the main problem is the damn motor stays freaking hot forever, my old car used to go dead cold quickly. This car will stay between 150-200 after sitting for 45 minutes in 45 degree wheater with 2 bags of ice on it.

And anderson, don't worry I am sure my car will be loud and in pieces sometime soon, I have a tendency to ruin cars like that...

And you guys should not be comparing your firebird to my car but more to this car...

thats the details of the guy that hit 14s with 3.08s on his car...

time to update the sig

nice times...you need to find a posi for that and get some good sticky tires...

i have a 3" bullet muffler sitting around if you want to free up your exhaust a bit...it's used and i'll sell it cheap!!

oh yeah...

you wouldn't happen to want a short stick for that would you? i'm gonna be making some in my dad's machine shop this xmas break. i figure $40 shipped and theywill be lenght adjustable (cutting the bolt end not the threaded end). email or PM me if you are.

Damn Eric. You're a bad motherf*cker. I'd love to see what you could do with a LS1 M6 car.

Nice job!

dayyum!!

i don't think those EAGLE tires are helping either,

maybe swap front/rear tires with someone with 275/40-17's next time, and see how it hooks up.

i was VERY happy with the power of our 99 V6, kid just hated, not cool enough.

post a WTB for a rear, there was a 3:42 posi rear complete except calipers in Daytona for $200 in the summer. oh yeah.
