ok well alot of you were not happy about the lighting at steak and shake..
and some of you were tired of haveing it sometimes two weekends in a row... and some just wanted it moved so we were not confused of being the cffb. well........ DONE!

today me jarod and sean met for lunch totalk about this weekends events and some changes that were asked of us.. while talking about them the mgr of hooters over herd us and asked if we would be intrested to moveing the meet to there lot... they would rope off parking spots for us give us a dj and probly awards for best of show and such.. on top of food and drink deals the hooters girls will be walking around takeing pics on or around the cars those who want them....

lighting is lots better then steak and shake we will alos have our own real meeting spot and a sponcer seems things are looking up... for those of you who do not know were they are located you just shoot by steak and shake if comeing from i-4 and about im guessing 7 miles?? there on the left..

Sounds great... Is there something with the MCO going on this upcomming weekend? For the manager to show continued support we really need a good showing... Can we put flyers on cars at the mall... I would help out on that.. We just park and walk around and stick a flyer on every rear wheel drive american car... One way to generate some support.. I could do the oviedo mall.... Just go until the mall security tosses us out or we can actually get permission.... Also if there are any flyers let me know and email me one because i can post it at work...

 

isnt hooters on the right if you're coming from I4. its the hooters in casselberry on 436 correct? If so, its on the right just past semoron skateway and Rockys Replay.

 

Just my opinion here, but it really pi$$es me off when people walk around and stick stuff on my windshield. And if ANYBODY was to touch my SS I'd go freaky on their a$$ when I caught them.

Others may disagree with me, that's fine. I just wanted to say that I don't want to be party to that kind of promotion.

former86 we have bis cards with our name and web site on them
that we have passed out to some people and put one or two under the wind shield wiper but really were not going to nutts yet due to the the fact were two months old and allready have a sponcer and 50 regesterd members..

but anything extra you would like to do is fine
and if ya have any ideahs shoot them over to the web board has ya can see were taking everyones ideah very serious..

Is there anything I can do just send me an email.... I have a spare 10 inch sub box we can raffle off.... I can include my two 10's in it for 30bucks or trade for a cut out... The box and subs have never been used. Could be a good cheap way to get more people out... Like only new members or current members who bring a new person out can enter... I also have for free we can raffle off some Crane fire wires for a third gen v6.... Just ideas...I am sure we can all come up with some stuff we have that we never used that we can raffle off...

 

I have seen this done back in indiana... Car clubs will take out an add in the paper under antique and muscle cars for sale saying so and so will be meeting friday yadada... Think about it if we can do it.. 30 bucks and run it for a few weekends and people who are looking for muscle cars will see it... Just another way to get the name out....Might even turn it into a swap meet along with car show.... Give people a reason to come out... We might even be able to get a zano distributor out or get a local speed shop to being a few products out for sale...

 

I'm pretty sure car clubs can get listed in the Orlando Sentinel for free. (transportation section)

 

i hate when people put **** on my car, they do it all the time here at the apartments and it always just gets thrown onto the ground without being looked at.

but other than that, i'll prolly check ya'll out

 

I toss it on the ground too, but there are those that look at it... If we get one out of every one hundred it is a success....

 

there is someone here with a beater type car and one of those flyer things landed on his paint, and overnight it got wet and then sat in the sun.... there is now a color impression on the side of his car of the flyer.

this is why i don't like stuff on my car

Would everyone agree or accept putting up flyers in mail boxes or on note boards apartments have up? Is that cool and ifthere is somethign going on this weekend does MCO have a flyer already made I can distribute out.


Why not put a flyer at the local car dealers like chevy and ford..

 

just a word of warning though, its my understanding that anyone accessing a mailbox other than a US mail employee or the person who's mail gets delivered there is committing some sort of crime.

 

ok lol the hooters is the one rite down from red bug road on 436 comeing from altamonte its on the rite.... the meeting time is 6-10pm first weekend of everymonth next meeting will be saturday feb 1st...
