LT1 miss can someone help me diagnose my problem Metro West area...

anyone in the Metro West area today? or that can swing by? off from work? just wondering I got a severe miss right after idle up to 1500 and then it seams to go away when normal driving..but when I stop and give it a little gas its still there...but would like to know if any LT1 gurus are around that can help me out?? Just had a shop do a tune up but would like to have some ammunition going in there to say this is the problem and they can not say its something else..

if your around today please give me a call would like to meet up with you, Im helping 4.3_Blazer with his thermostat right now but will be around for the rest of the afternoon till eavning

theres a lot of random hestitation issues with the lt1...the problem always seems the same, but the thing causing it could be any of the following (or combination!)

opti dying
plugs bad/mis-gapped
burnt/cracked wires
ignition coil
O2 sensors dying/bad
MAP sensor bad
dirty MAF sensor (clean with electric parts cleaner and qtip)

the list goes on....

Check the igniton module. When I got my Z, I would step on the gas, and the car would die for a fraction of a second. Replaced module and the Z runs like a champ...

FWIW, my kid's 93 was down for ~2 months and 500 bones before they figured out the first set of plug wires they had put on, 2 had fell and melted.

check all the basics before you start buying stuff. we got a spare 93 A4 PCM if someone needs it.....
