I haven't been on this site in almost 10 years! Also, I haven't owned any form of Camaro or Firebird in almost 10 years. But I just recently I purchased a 5th Gen 1SS. I'm loving it! Looking to get back in to the car scene and hit up the track. I haven't been to Silver Dollar in Reynolds in probably 12 years. Back then there was still an F-Body club in Georgia that did the F-Body shootout out there in Reynolds. Anybody still doing stuff like that?

 

I was an officer in the GA F-Body Association for the last several years of it's existence, we sponsored the shootout...unfortunately, it seems Facebook killed us and our site traffic dropped so low, we ended up folding as a club. It wasn't just Facebook, the demise of the F-Body platform didn't help either. The 5th Gen guys just never joined us either...

That being said, I'm still F-Body faithful! I bought my '98 Z28 new in 6/98 and I STILL have it. It's the car I plan to have for life. It's stuck in the garage most of the time, but I take it out when I can...like yesterday on a Toilet Paper hunt

I miss the fun of club meets! I'm in Macon too, so I'm game for a track day!
