Actually I noticed the same thing on like 3-4 cars driving aorund recently...

From a v6 f-body site we pretty much rounded up this info...

Jan. 6th Bradenton www.bradentonmotorsports.com

jan 4th and 5th moroso road race/driving school event held by PCA

Jan. 15th for bithlo

I wanna get out but I have to build something for my new cutout, jsut have to sit down one day for 2-3 hours, and fix a hangert on my new/used exhaust.

Hmm.... I saw a couple cars recently with numbers... one was a truck...

OSW isn't open yet, but I'm going as soon as it does... Haven't been in a long time...

I scrape my numbers off at the nearest gas station because 4 little numbers=COP MAGNET. Try talking your way out of a speeding ticket with that on your car.

i left the numbers on for more than 24 hours once because i was a lazy bastard and they were incredibly hard to get off, still have little tiny white dots on the back window from it. its cause of this i scrape it off same night now

when I used to go out all the time they'd be on there for months. I'd wash the car and they wouldnt scrape off so I just didnt worry about it. Razor blade and some water and it comes right off.

use rubbing alcohol on the glass only to remove the white shoe polish.

So you're saying the 4" orange numbers made of vinyl were not a good idea?

hehe

I gave up on that, I would go to some many thngs a month I gave up on washing them same night, I would autocross and drag race twice int he smae week, I used to average 3-4 trips to the dragstrip a month and little more then evedry other month an autocross.

I upgraded to magnets... I bought these things you use to glue business cards to as maginets, then I cought some reflective hosue numbers, they look ok and I think it cost me $12 for 3 sets of GP 0661 so I can autocross, and I have plenty of extras in case I start losing numbers.

If you drag race only need 4 numbers.

Well if you obey all your traffic laws to the letter I guess it doesn't matter. But, just like driving any sports car it will add another level to labeling you as some type of racing and dangerous driver. Get into an accident and the cop might assume you were driving too fast for example.
