Does anyone here race at Gainesville, orlando or bronson?

Please post if you race at any of those tracks. Preferably a stock or close to stock ls1. I know a couple mustang owners down there that say that they have never seen an ls1 run mid 13's stock or faster and they dont believe it because all the ls1 owners down there run 14's stock and with bolt-ons. They really want to see it done, so I need anyyone that races at any of those tracks to hook up with them one day and show them what our cars are supposed to do please! Anyone would have to be retarded to think ls1's were that slow, but you can't completely blame them if there are retarded ls1 owners down there putting our cars to shame lol. So please just post if you would like to do it and I'll try to set something up thank you!

I've never heard of Bronson. Maybe you mean Bradenton Motorsports Park?

If so, that's where I go and that's where the time in my sig. is from.

are you kidding me........

show him a certain GMHTP article where a BONE STOCK 02 SS went 12.96 @ 109ish.

Tell you what say the average LS1 M6 puts 300 RWHP stock and weighs 3600 pounds w/driver. put that into a ET calculator for ****s and giggles. its giving me 13.33 @ 103.

By the way, plenty of LS1's hit OSW, and most of the stockers run low 13's... If that poster is actually running a GT, he is either ignorant or just sh.t talking... GT's do not hang with LS1's at all. Mach 1's yes, but a stock GT, nope...

buhaha at osw, ls1s not making 13s stock...

sure he is not mistaking v6s, there are several 14 second v6s. Where is he posting this?

A chick at fuelslut ran a 13.4 HER FIRST TIME OUT IN THE CAR in a stock ls1 trans am at OSW.

I also believe chuck ran a 13.6 in a bone stock SS convertable.

YOu have to be a member to view I believe... but here is her post, several ford and GM witnesses.

well I have had the car about a month and a half, and driven a manual about 3 months of my life...... So i was extremely nervous to run my car tonight

FULL street trim..... Did nothing to prepare....
No lowering pressure in tires
Not even doing a small burnout to clean off the tires

I just rolled my happy *** up to the line (nervous as F)

First run- Didnt load up, rolled off the line

Like grandparents fking........ slow and painful to watch (thanks mike)

14.04 @ 106 with a 2.6 60'

2nd and 3rd run felt a little more confident so i decided to launch it the best i could ( spun like a biotch through 1st and part of 2nd)

2nd run : 13.49 @ 106 2.21 60'

3rd run : 13.44 @ 106 2.25 60'

I am very pleased with my times, can only get better from here

And thanks to all my awesome friends who were out supporting me tonight
you guys are wonderful!!!

So I guess it was Bradenton Motorsports Park he's talking about, not Bronson?

Do you actually know these guys personally or just on the Internet? I wouldn't believe one quarter of what people say on these car message boards. Most of them don't even have these cars and they like to talk BS about something they know nothing about.

Re: Does anyone here race at Gainesville, orlando or bronson?

old post I know, but I live in Gainesville and I know for a fact that they have seen LS1's run in the low 13s, because I have. I go out at least a couple times a month. Hell, I know they have seen my 95 Z with A4 and 3.23s run in the high 13s at 100 on several occasions. Sold now, but my bud I sold it to still has the slips I ran with it.
Of course, after the first 13.97 run in my LT1 one of my bonehead mustang buddies claimed my car was a "factory Freak".
After the 3rd, he didnt say anything...
