Breathless Performance shootout……Very disappointed.

The Breathless Performance shootout that was at the Bradenton Motorsports Park was a big disappointment. First off it was 98% LS1 corvettes, one Viper that didn’t even run, three or four f-bodies that were LS1 and one LT1 roadmaster that ran 12.8. There was no audience and not enough cars running. I mean I could only sit there and watch the same cars run over and over again until I was really board. I only stayed for three hours and was able to talk to just about ever one that was running there cars. I was expecting a lot more Vipers and F-bodies to be there. I took some pics and will post them up when I find some time.

I was thinking about going to that today, with the notion that it was going to be a great shootout, but that really sucks that it was mostly Corvettes.

What did that Roadmaster have done to it?

That's incredible that it goes that fast, I figured it had N20.

Probably to help the guy get to bingo and church quicker.

Apparently theres another Viper deal that either just happened, or is about to happen, and thats why the viper guys didn't show up. At least thats what I heard. But at any rate, there certainly weren't any Vipers out running yesterday, but the 8 second Trans Am was cool

the roadmaster is on the bottle.

he does low 14's off of it. 12.8 isnt bad for a 4400lb car though.

Lethally Injected fromOrlando had about 8 members out there. We were just there to watch and none of us ran our cars. I liked the lowered Impala SS that ran low 11's. We didn't get to watch much (besides nothaving many cars to watch) since one members had a problem out on the road and we left the track to help him work things out.

A very disappointing day for the track. Great weather but no cars.

Later ...Larry S.

little too much throttle into the corner, and no traction control on.

Luckily everyone was ok, and unharmed.

It took the better part of the day to get everything handled though...the tow truck drivers were being a royal pain.

thats about it.
