I have a 96 Z28 with a M6. Sometimes when downshifting I can hear a strage honking noise when the the clutch is released. It only seems to do this during long trips or if I hot lap the car at the strip. I checked my fluid level and it was a little low, but took less than half a quart. The car has 73,xxx mi and I have changed the fluid once-used Valvoline Dexron III ATF.
Ideas?
