Ring gap locations on pistons

I have a 93 Z that I am just ready to put back together. However, I do not know where the piston ring end gaps are suposed to be at. I have stock pistons and hastings rings. What locations on the pistons are they supposed to be at.

well if I remember correctly you want them away from each other, like in the shape of a triangle, so that the escaping gasses don't just run through each ring.
