guys i ended up getting xe 224/230 and gold rockers, comp r springs, my heads milled so works out to 11:1 comp., heads flew 250 sumthing i/ exhaust i forgot i have the sheet, and mac headers.. will this combo work out good for me? any guess on #'s or times?

im going to be buy dr's shortly and wonder if i should go w/ 3.73's or 4.10's ??? any help here guys?

I know the round ball goes on the top (fits into rockers).

thanks hal you are correct but both sides of the push rod have the round ball on each end there is one side w/ a small pin pressed in about an 1/4" from the ball. and im not sure weather that side should go up into the rocker arm or down towards the lifter..

it doesn't matter... mine runs fine

um...seriously though.. i've read all the installs and books in my area for LT1s and i'd say the notch goes on the bottom!!

my "rebuilding LT1/LT4 small blocks" book shows them with notch down!!!

well i dont think it matters because i didnt watch when i put my pushrods in...

i didnt care what side went it first. they both have ***** and they are supposed to be striat, clean.

it shouldn't matter what end went in first..and i'm not gonna go back through my motor to find out!!!

alright thanks guys so it looks like the notch is going down.

as for the 4.10 vs. 3.73 comparison.. i have the m6 w/ 3.42's now what will be the best gear for performance increase where as i can still have driveability with it, it is my daily driver.. such as mpg, and rpm wise?

i know that im not gunna get too good of gas mileage from teh cam lol

and a few other quick questions..

as far as tuning goes how should i go about that or where shoudl i go for that?

and drag radials i will be needing these. nitto's or bfg's

anything else u guys think i might need to get a decent time? what u think i'll run #'s wise... 1/4/rwhp/rwtq

I'd go with the 3.73s.. (actually I'd keep the 3.42s, but I know you want to use those DRs)

Gears are just sooo damn short with 4.10s That's all

3.73s should give your DRs a good workout anyway.

ok man i kinda get what ur saying i want to enjoy my car haha i know 4.10's would be great for the track and all but 3.73's sound better for a daily driver and i mean i like smoking the tires haha just not all the way up into the top of 3rd when im trying to launch lol...
hey kick z tail out do u have any ideas on the #'s it'll put down.. and whats the better dr to run nitto or bfg?

thanks man for all the help!

Are you running a 16" or 17" wheel? If you've got 17s IMO you should buy a pair of cheap satin saladshooters and throw the DRs on there... The taller the sidewall the better the bite.

I like the BFGs.

As far as numbers... I have no clue.. I'm sure I'll be corrected, let me just make a totally uneducated guess of 375 RWHP/ 395 RWTQ with the 3.73s and 12.5 @ 115 ish.

Don't bash me too hard guys.. I've been out of the game for a while
