can a 98 Z28 and 94 Firehawk swap rears?

Can it be done??

The 98 has 3.73 and the 94 has 3.23, thought it would easier(cheaper) to get the 3.73s in the 94 by swaping rear ends my self instead of paying someone to change the gears.

The 98 has ABS/ASR and the 94 only has ABS.

Thanks.

They are the same rearend so I would say yes.
I don't think the traction control will be a problem on the 98 rearend.
How did you come about this swap?

I know someone that has a 98 Z28 who has 3.73s, he is selling his car so he
wants to put it back to stock. Well, I have 3.23s and want 3.73. So I thought
the swap would be easiest. I can change a rear end myself, but I can't do a
gear change

THe ABS sensor on your 94 will be on top of the rear end housing. I believe the traction control rears have a sensor at each wheel. If this is the case then both cars will loose their ABS ability. I know you must swap axles & brakes as the LS1 vs. LT1 cars are different.
