MUST SELL!! Price Lowered - '01 Race Prepped Z28
Want to get into a C5 Z06 before summer is over. Must sell the Z28. Price reduced!! $8750 with trailer, $7995 for car and spare parts only.
My buddy set this up for NASA American Iron racing. I bought the car when he moved into a Time Trials Z06. Been using the car for HPDE events, but now I'm looking to make the move into my own Z06.
The car runs well and is probably a fresh set of tires and less than $1000 from being race-ready again. I don't know much about current AI rules or car setup, but this car was fully AI-prepped back in the mid 2000's.
With the full cage, fresh T56 w/ Viper upgrade, and extreme duty torque arm with driveshaft loop, this car is also a great platform for building a nice 1/4 mile car.
Modifications
Lots of spare parts included. Fresh battery installed in May.
The car needs a new windscreen. The Lexan race glass front windshield has deteriorated over the years. I still have the original factory front glass and am happy to provide it with the car.

- Full cage installed by Tom Oates Chevrolet
- Motor is internally stock w/ less than 30000 street and track miles (mostly street).
- Long tube headers w/ Borla exhaust - no cats and sounds righteous
- Tuned by Rapid Motorsports - dyno'd 350RWHP
- Fresh Clutch w/ just a couple of track weekends on it
- Fresh T56 transmission w/ Viper upgrade - swapped this in when the clutch was replaced.
- T2R differential
- Brembo Big Red 4-piston front brakes by MovIt w/ anti-knockback springs installed
- Porsche front rotors using custom hats (brand new spare set of rotors included)
- Stainless steel braided brake lines
- Custom front brake cooling ducts
- Power steering cooler
- Koni SA shocks with ride height adjustment
- I don't know the details on the springs or the sway bars, but the car is well balanced
- Adjustable torque arm, trailing arms and panhard rod
- Welded-in subframe connectors
- Sparco seats - Driver: Evo3 / Passenger: Pro2000
- 17x9" OEM Camaro SS wheels - 1 set on car, 1 set spare
- Toyo RA1 rubber - 1 set worn, 1 set still usable
