Angry air pump

I just replaced my waterpump and the service engine soon light is now on.

I know I have a vacuum hose off. On the output side of the air pump there's a small fitting for a vacuum hose that spliced into the main output hose. I can't find any unconnected vacuum hoses, but I know something was connected to this fitting. It's a small fitting maybe 1/4 inch hose.

Any ideas appreciated.

I was hoping to reconnect the hose and the light would go off.

Where can I get a cheap scanner?
