headers????LT or shorties

ok heres the deal. i am adding a cc305 1.6RR and custom programing and everything else u need for that install. + all the stuf in my sig.

now..heres the question should i get SLP shorties or FLP long tubes?? how much HP difference are we looking at here between the 2??? and my big problems with LT are
1. need to pass NJ inspection (must have cats)
2. want to drop car about 1 1/2
3. want to be able to drive my car.. and speed bumps are every where here. and pot holes
4. they cost more then shoties.

so what do u guys think??should i jsut get shoties

You'd fail with FLPs anyway. New Jersey is a bitch when it comes to vehicle inspection. Your best bet are the shorties, because of the EGR and AIR provisions, and the fact that you will retain your cats.

Do a search to get exact numbers, but over all from what I have read, LTs= more HP up top, and Shorties = bigger Low to mid HP gains.

Of course this all depends on your other mods such as cat back, and CAI.

Remeber your engine is a big pump, so every part/mod depends on the rest.

Do a search and you will get most of your answers.

Try a search for the numbers. Also might I recommend MACs? they are a mid-length header that seems to be the best of both worlds. They also pass the state inspection here in NJ. I don't have them yet (order in about 2 weeks ) but my friend does, on his 94 trans am and he loves them.
