will these springs work with my cam?

CC986-16 springs. Anyone using these? what about the 987-16. Comp Cams web site has the 986's, but not the 987's. I am buying new valve train for my LLoyd Elliot ported heads and want to do it right. I need p/n's for all the correct parts (seats/retainers/locks).

I would give Lloyd the cam specs and let him supply the parts, he knows what he's doing.

if you are talking about the 230/236 cam in your sig, i would use and am using the 987's. they should work fine for that cam.

if you either call comp cams or lloyd i am sure that either one of them could tell you what valvetrain parts you should run with that cam. all i did was go to a local muscle car performance shop and they were able to set me up with a whole valvetrain setup.
