my antenna just stays up when the car or radio are turned off. I tried to manually push it down with not too much force, but it wouldnt go down, i stopped cause i didnt wanna break it. is there any way i can fix it for free, at least get it to go down, I never listen to radio anyways. help is appreciated

If you can't push it down, the only thing left is to replace it. AFAIK, there are no repair kits/parts available.

First check to see if your getting voltage to the antenna motor, if not, you could just use a jumper wire and retract it. If the motor is bad you can remove it, lower the antenna, with the motor removed, then reinstall. If the motor works then the plastic tape inside the housing is broken, you can get a new one from GM.
