my car sits about a whole INCH lower on the right side (front AND rear)

i can stick 2 fingers between my rear tire and the fender on the left .. and 0 fingers on the right !! there is 0.0" gap on the right side lol

im running stock decarbons and sportlines ...

this seems to be a very common problem ...

you guys all should post ur spring/shock combo to see if we can find a correlation. maybe it mostly happenes within people who have lower springs and stock shocks !?

I believe its that way so when the weight of the driver is in it will sit level.

yup, mines at least a full inch lower on the right front and rear as well. it was like that when stock.

the only susp mods i really have now are some aftermarket springs that i dont even know what brand they are or how much they were "supposed" to lower my car. i got them for free so i figured anything would look a little better than stock. turns out, they really didnt do much at all. that, and the FR sway bar is gone.

ever since i got pro stars with 275/50 nitto dr's, whenever i go over a bridge or a dip or bump in the road, the right rear tire scrapes against the inner fender.

thats weird though. i would really be interested to find out how "big" of an issue this has been with others and more importantly, WHY?

what happenes when u got a passenger .. i doubt this very much ..as u can interchange the left and right side shocks/springs .. those are the only factors that dictate ride height.

my 275s never rubbed or anything .. cept when i mounted the 315s .. now the right rear tire hits the fender lip only when i hit bumps ..

oh well .. my cure is comin my way soon .. QA1 shocks and springs all around

If one side hits and the other doesn't, you need an ajustable panhard rod to center your rear end. I have 315's and had to do it to mine.

The main reason for this is because our differential wants to turn the right wheel first which results in more strain on that side of the car. I have the same problem too. Changing the spring might or might not fix it - depends if the frame is still straight.

Its a real common problem with 4th gens, no one knows why. I have heard a lot of reasons, one saying that its like that so when a pssenger gets in it evensthe car out. I think it has to do with the bushing or mounts waring down. I use to thnk my car sat crooked, turns out my drive way is crooked

I dont know why this is, but almost everyones car seems to be like this. Mine sat level when I bought it, but I later found out, that it was because on the left rear (drv side) someone put a couple spring clamps on the rear spring,

A lot of that could also be from years of torque compression. When you launch, the torque twists the car over onto it's right side. The Eibach drag-launch spring kit compensates for this by putting a much stiffer spring in the right rear, and then putting an air bag inside the right rear as well! I don't notice my car leaning to the right anymore, but the composition of the springs has gotten me a lot comments from my F-body club. There's a lot of room between the tire and the fender now. Oh well...we all gotta make sacrifices.

Ride it.

My car leaned to the right at the rear, only. It was about an inch lower on the passenger side. I then installed a prokit and it was about 1-1/14 inches lower on the right pass rear side. Then I put a spacer underneath the rear spring and is almost level now. My spacer was 2 inches thick. I placed it between the bottom of the spring and the rear. It was self-fabricated. I would take a pic of it, but it was supposed to be a beta-model, so it's pretty rough. I need to make another. I can probably make some if any of you want to spend a little money on them.

I have heard that Sub frame connectors will straighten this out, and I second that it happens because of the way the car torques when you jump on the gas. Just put it in neutral and stab the gas a few times. The car will rock right.

Connected

Subframe connectors will simply lock your frame's current torqued position into place forever. If you could torque your frame straight, and then weld the connectors in, you're frame would indeed be straight forever.
