Would somebody mind describing to me the handling characteristics associated with a tunnel-mount torque arm? Weight transfer/cornering/etc? I have no experience and can not wrap my mind around the dynamics associated with taking this torque off the tailshaft housing.

Simply put it will take a lot of 'play' out of the torque arm system, and take a lot of strain off the back of your transmission. Your car will no longer trying to pull the transmission into the tunnel on acceleration.

I put one in my car and first thing I noticed is you are going to get more bumps and vibrations transmitted up through the tunnel since you are taking out two bushings/mounts and now likely running only one. I would recommend it if you are upping your hp output or doing any sort of racing.
