my 95 z has power locks. both doors lock but the passenger side does not unlock. i am assuming that the actuator is bad. i think i may just get this from a salvage yard or somewhere. is the actuator the same in the v6 as in the lt1's? also is it the same actuator in the left and right door? thanks

 

Can you here the door try to lock?Mine did something like that,and I removed the clear plastic thing on the actual metal thing that locks and unlocks the door.(Kind of a long metal rod that is bent on the end).(Only on the pass. side did this happen to me).Go to Shoebox's site for door removal,might need a flashlight,and a mirror to see this thing.Hope this helps.

 

Are you using the switch on the door or the remote to unlock the car?

 

i am using the switch on the door. neither the switch on the drivers or passengers door will unlock the passenger door. yes i can hear the door try to unlock.

 

I say take your door panel off and see what its hanging up on....
