I was reading a tread about about the LT4 knock module and it made me think of something.

Recently I have replaced my valve covers with cover that warent meant for the lt1 and I had to sligtly push the passenger cover in so it would let me put the alternator in , 1 of the rocker is just sligtly bumping into the cover , would that create a knock that the KM would detect ???

I'm getting a ses light about the knock module...
