Hard start plz help

It is a 95 camaro Z28. It has a 94 motor in it and a full msd ignition. I just put in a fuel pump in it and a fuel filter. But it is still hard to start. It will crank for about 5 seconds before starting. When it is cooler out, it starts right away. Any help? If you need to know mods, let me know.

opti spark might be the problem check that

What kind of fuel pump did you install?I just went through this with my buddies Z,he bought a Granatelli 225 pump from Summit,it lasted about a yr..did the same thing started great when it was cold,once it was warm it was hard to start.Put a new stock pump in and no more problems
