new lifters installed in 94z28, no oil coming out of rockers/pushrods???

so i just installed a new set of ls1 lifters in my 94z28 and while trying to adjust the rockers on the drivers side i noticed there was no oil coming out of the oil holes on the top of the stock rockers??? the 2 rockers on the last cylinder have oil coming out but nothing on the first 3 cylinders. what could be causing this?

also for some reason the rockers on the drivers side keep coming loose, any idea as to what would be causing this? none of these problems to my knowledge are happening on the passenger side just the drivers? any help would be great. also if any of you have the time to give me a call my number is 228-282-2232 if you have the time to explain it to me. thanks again guys.

Did you soak the lifters in oil for at least 2 hours before you installed them? If not, it will take awhile for them to pump-up.

I just replaced mine with the same lifters. It took a while but they pump oil fine.

When you say coming loose...do you mean the actual stud nut is backing off or just that the rockers are coming out of adjustment? If it is not the nut backing off..it is more than likely just a case of improper valve lash adjustment.

No the nut doesnt keep coming loose, but when we set them tight while the vehicle is running we loosen till barely starts rattling then 1/4 of a turn and they all fix till you turn the vehicle off and back on it starts all over again...
On start up oil pressure is halfway could that be a problem?

What type of rockers are you using? Do you have poly locks or using stock type nuts on the rocker studs?

No they are the stock rockers with stock nuts. We replaced the 200k mile lifters with ls1 lifters an replaced the stock pushrods with hardened ones from oriellys and kept the stock rockers, studs, an rocker nuts. Now for some reason no oil is come up through the push rods on three of the 4 cylinders on the drivers side and the rockers keep coming loose/unadjusted??? Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Did you clean out the push rods and blow them out to be sure there's no debris in them?

That could be the culprit, they can have alot of machining debris in them from the manufacturing.

Could be the nuts, you should "not" be able to turn them by hand(no rachet) on the stud until it touches the rocker arm. If you can than they could be wore out.
