FS: LT1 Turbo hotparts w/Turbo- Best Offer!
FS: LT1 Turbo hotparts w/Turbo- Best Offer!
I have a set of PTK LT1 Gen 1 Turbo hot parts for sale off my Camaro. As PTK Gen 1, they aren't perfect (bolt access is a pain on a few of the bolts, but you can get them done with some scraped knuckles), but I sent them off to be checked and the flanges are straight and seal well. The primaries are 1 3/4", it has a 2.25" crossover pipe and a 3" downpipe. The downpipe goes on the driver's side, the crossover goes under the oil pan. You can keep A/C, but you will need a tubular K-Member. I had a Canton 242T oil pan and it fit with it just fine.
The main issue the kit has is the location of the turbo - it wasn't really meant for the Master Power turbo, so the flange locates the compressor housing VERY close to the main crank pulley. You would want to weld another flange to the existing one to space it out, or cut it off and re-weld it. It also does not have a support brace for the turbo.
The parts kit comes with both headers, Tial 38mm wastegate, Crossover pipe, Wastegate tube, Downpipe without high flow cat, all the V-band flanges and Master Power GT45 turbo (which really isn't a huge turbo, but it works). It should make a good starting kit for someone that can weld or get some work done on it on the cheap side.
Best offer takes it - the kit has less than 1000 miles on it. It's ready to ship. PM me with questions or offers.

I did some work on these hotparts for Geoff to improve the fit, and IMO the hotparts should be ready to go (no fabbing should be necessary). IMo the Compressor housing is close to the crank pulley, but there is clearance, and the housing doesn't get that hot.
Answers to some questions:
The turbine housing *is* divided, and the header collector is not. The turbine housing will accept a blanket, but a standard T4 blanket is not big enough. Jose from Forced Inductions has one that fits that you can order.
I started seeing boost around 2700rpm with this kit on a 353 with some good flowing heads.
The rust on the exhaust pipes is only superficial, I'd recommend just a quick blasting and then thermal coating.
Parts will fit 93-97 LT1 Fbodies with tubular K-member.
(Current best offer is $1500 before shipping).

I would prefer to keep everything together so the parts remain as a bolt-on kit. I'd only consider parting it out if someone else was interested in the hotparts and not the turbo. Sorry man.
The GT45 is an odd duck - for it's size it isn't incredibly powerful, but it should be good for 600rwhp and will be the limiting factor. You could always cut off the DP flange and put a different turbo on.
And yes, the A/C is kept, thanks to the downpipe being on the driver's side.
