1993 Firebird Formula 396
1993 Firebird Formula 396
I have more money in this than I am asking, mod list is long.
ENGINE:
Eagle forged 396 rotating assembly with H-meam 6" rods
SRP 30 over forged pistons
canton oil pan
242/248 xfi cam on billet core
hardened pushrods
comp r lifters
double roller timing set
accel opti
afr 210cc heads
moroso valve covers
harland sharp 1.6 RR
44lb injectors
holly FRP
240l fuel pump
BBK 58mm TB
LT-4 intake manifold port matched
csi electric WP
Jet hot long tube headders
TRANSMISSION:
Built th400
Coan 3500 stall
BBK quicksilver shifter
custom heavy-wall DS with 1350 yolks
REAR_END:
Strange dana 60
35 spline
limited slip
3.54 gears
torque arm delete
lakewood lift bars
M/T et streets
AR torque thrust II wheels on all four
Some other things:
I have the rear and passenger seat out but they can be put back in as I still have them. The ac junk has been removed and the alternator relocated off the top. The heater core and fan has all been removed. The car does have some dings and scratches but it is a 93, its not bad for a 17 year old car. It does have a salvage title though. body only has 70,000 miles on it.
I have had some bad luck with this car from a shop that built the first motor but I wont go int too much detail. Just parts I specified only to find out that isn't what was used. I just did the motor for the last time and it runs 12.34 @ 110MPH w/a 1.77 60ft. It only has two passes on it. This is on a PCMforless tune that was specified for a 230/236xe cam (which is what was supposed to be in the last motor but it actually was a 208/212). Instead of getting a 230/236 cam this time I decided to go bigger as everyone here suggested I just haven re-tuned it yet.
I would like to sell and get something older that is easier to work on and tune.
Asking $12,000
