Which is better for a na 383 Ai TF 215 or AFR Eliminator 210?

I'm having an all forged 383 being built with Howards 4340 forged Crank, 4340 6" H beam rods, Mahle coated forged ft pistons, splayed 4bolt mains and an 847 cam and I want to know which head will make the most rwhp/rwtq The AFR Competition 210 or Ai 215 TF head?

You will see very similar results from the two heads.
I would say that you can't go wrong either way.
Ron and Phil at AI are great guys and will help get you the right cam in the process. There are alot better options than the 847.
Feel free to contact me to discuss you setup.

The big benefit of going with AI is that(as stated above) you will get a custom cam taylored to you needs and don't have to try and do the guess work.

If you have head flow numbers, you can go to any custom cam place and get a cam done. Cammotion being my personal favorite.

False - Also, I believe the TF are for the LT1 Intake Manifold and the AFRs are for the LT4. Pretty much the same except the roof is 0.250" higher on the LT4 Intake Manifold.

Correction - by 96Capricemgr see following post. The roof of the LT4 heads are 0.100" higher in the head than the LT1, not 0.250".

No need to repeat misinformation, it has been corrected.

You would be WRONG.
The LT4 manifold is internally the same as the late LT1 intakes.

It does have more material above the port to seal to the .100 TALLER port in the LT4 heads which also leaves room for port matching to LT4 heads but as cast the port is in the same place and same size as the LT1 stuff.

GIZMO from LS1TECH put that comparo pic up because the missinformation you repeated is so so very common. Hopefully eventually enough of us hammer on this and post the pic that the bad information goes away.

Far as the heads I don't think anyone can give you a good solid answer. I can tell you the AI 215 Trickflow is capable of NA mid 9s at over 140mph in a 3400lbs car . See what other RESULTS you can find to compare.

I wouldnt be suprised if the 210 cc head flowed 320cfm/240cfm @.600 lift. Will the AI head outgun it?
