I bought a 94 Z28 from a guy, he was selling because he needed the money. I had seen him driving it a little and thought for $1300 it was a decent deal. I didn't really want or need it but i'm an idiot and bought it.

The idiots who put LT's on it thought it didn't need O2 sensors I guess. So i'm trying to find the wires for the O2 sensors. Where do they come out of on your harness?

2nd question and more important one.

It has a ticking noise at idle, it goes away when the RPM's are raised now. I'm almost positive it's the valve train. The idiot that had it said he tried to set the valves, so I reset them and most of them were way to tight.

I was ready to tear it down and put lifters in it, but thought i'd post here first.

Any idea's on the ticking?

Oh yea, I can make a video if needed.

 

Check for an exhaust leak. If you pull the valve covers and run it, you should be able to tell if its there.
