I launched around 5200 rpm.

Cam-230/236 .545 .555 lift 112lsa
EWP, Moser 12bolt with 4.11's, Jet Hot LT's ORY w/cut out, K&N intake, march underdrive pulley, crane 1.6 rr's QA1 R's up front, sfc's, lca's, rear sway bar. I also run on bogart D-10's ..I only have removed the ac, front sway bar, and spare tire and jack. The whole interior is in the car.

 

Thats good. Nice 60' for the times....

 

Cam only? Lol, what are those other mods in your list?

 

So all those other "cam only" cars are just that? No headers or anything?

No - You are wrong and the other guy is right. I thought exactly the same thing when I read it. I think your times are great for what you have, but your post is titled poorly. To me, cam only would mean that's all you changed on your car. So, don't call one of the most knowledgeable and helpful guys on the forum a peanut gallery when you can't title your post appropriately and he calls you on it.

 

how are you launching with your M6? Curious becuase when i went to the track for the first time a few weeks ago i couldnt launch it right.

I would rev to about 2k and then pretty much dump the clutch. How do you manage to launch at 5200 w/o spinning or burning up the clutch?

FWIW,
Most people consider "cam only" to mean bolt-ons + cam
(as opposed to H/C which would be bolt-ons + heads + cam)

It would be kind of silly to have a cam upgrade be the only mod done to a car,
although I could certainly see people try it.
