I've decided that the 3.4L engine in my 94 Firebird just needs to be replaced. I've got some block problems, so rebuilding is not the best option. I'm looking for a high quality rebuilt/reman long block. There are several available on-line. Has anyone had any bad/good luck with a particular place, or can anyone recommend one?

 

It would be a stock biuld but they do give a good warranty. I had one of thier motors in my truck and it is still running well. Not sure but thought I would mention.

 

Thanks. I'm familiar with Jasper, and they've got a great reputation. I'm also curious about one called "Power Train Products", located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Their website is pretty impressive, but does anyone have any input or experience regarding their quality/service?

Any other suggestions?
