I had my third CSR go bad on me in three years last week. The first two, the bolts backed themselves our of thier main case and it went bad. The one I put in 6 months ago that had about 2k miles on it just burned up. When I got the new one in the mail from CSR on warrenty, the pigtail that cpils into the main clip, the colors are reversed. The blue goes to the black and the black goes to the blue. Even on my old clip, it was cossed as well. My question is, do I go from the colors right out of the pump or use the one at the end of the pictail. I assume that may be my problem with these things. I know these motors will spin both ways depending on how they are hooked up. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

 

Keep them reversed. CSR reverses them on the LT1 setups for the reverse flow cooling i believe. Mine are also reversed. Its basically a standard CSR motor run in reverse on our cars.
