new modder and i need some help

new modder and i need some help

i have a 94 camaro z28 and i am really getting into doing some hands on work. i want to make some hp. i just got a cold air intake that was an easy add on. i was thinking next a cam and or headers with a cutout....? any advice on what i should do and if i do change the cam is there anything else i would need to change? with the headers what would recommended. try to be nice i am really eager to learn and i hope you someone can help me out

holy........ if you just did a CAI, doing a cam is not your next logical jump (unless you pay a shop)

try doing some headers

well i know for the cam you just take the timing chain off and take it out i will be going to school for this in the fall but if i change the cam to i need to change the pushrods and lifters and rocker heads? and if i do the headers what should i go with?

You dont "Have" to change the pushrods and lifters. But rockers and valve springs are a must. You might also want to change your timing chain depending on how much slack. But you should do other boltons before a cam. Otherwise you wont get the full potential out of the cam. Do headers and a cutout, or a good catback. Or both. Depending on what cam you get you might need a tune also.

ok i already have a 3 inch magnaflow that goes straight back to the muffler headers.....? any recommendations?
