this is off a 1997 v6
it has a terrible knocking sound and runs like ****. any help would be lovely thank you

 

Well I can't tell if there is pulley noise too but that sounds like rod knock to me.

 

Its not something simple, i can promise you that.... I wouldent bother "rebuilding" that motor, start with a core that doesnt knock, (or buy a junkyard motor and slap her in) youll save money in the long run. Best of luck
