I have a DMH electric cutout, which that Jegs seems to be a copy of. I couldnt get their web site to work unfortunately. I think its a little cheaper than that Jegs one - mine has lasted 7 years.

Im trying to find out more on the DMH cut out. I ran across this video and was very disappointed by there car. This Lexus turbo is quiet open and closed but it show the thing open and it takes about a second from fully closed to fully open. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqpLkszldCE . The DMH doesn't appear to be available so if anyone has a link or site let me know.

all the e cutouts ive seen take a second or two to open. With mine and a buddies they sounded best 3/4 open. As you open it you can hear the change in tone. Its pretty cool, but reilability is always an issue with any of them.

I heard that with a cutout you loose back presure which hurts low end torque but really helps on the top end. I had the idea of opening it after getting up to 4000 rpms but was told it took to long to open so if its 1 second thats not long at all.

Roller muffler bearing will help with backpressure.

Tried this website 3 different times and won't come up. I can't find any for sale anywhere else either. Maybe they closed?

His site went down a few days ago. He told me it was a hosting problem. He is still around and is easily reachable by phone.

I'll post up his number soon.
