maf voltage?

i've read in here that the maf is supposed to have 12v with the key on. well last night i checked the maf, iat, coolant temp sensor, and all three of them have only about 5v? unless i'm using the volt meter wrong, but what could cause them to only have 5v?

If you are not sure you are using the volt meter correctly, hook it up to your battery, if your battery is good it will read 12v. If you are using it correctly I would say check your grounds.

The MAF should have 12v on the pink wire. The IAT and ECT use 5v.

well i was checking it wrong, it does have 12 volts, thanks. but i also think i found my problem. there was a fuse blown under the hood, number 10. someone had a 7.5 in it, and i found out its supposed to be a 20, so i replaced it and the car is running great now. idle doesn't hang anymore, stays idling, doesn't smell like gas a whole lot now, other than the normal. the cover on my box is the wrong one, so i called and found out that the number 10 fuse is something called engine sensor?
