need to know which intake gasket to by for trimming up for my intake and heads that have been port matched

 

Mine is ported to a LT4 gasket.

You should try to use the gasket that your porter matched to.

For instance, my heads and manifold were port matched to the LT4 race intake gasket part # GM12367777. That way, I never have to trim the gasket unless the gasket is mis-stamped.

Can you ask the guy who port matched your intake/heads which gasket he used?

 

I start with LT4 intake gasket and then open them up to fit my heads.

I get them at Summit Racing.

 

is there any issues when putting a LT4 intake gasket on LT1 Heads/intake? does it match up correctly?

go mic them and buy a set. my ports are bigger than any LT4 gasket, race or otherwise. the lt1's are even smaller. by the way yes they are for a SBC not a LT1 but they will work fine.

 

thanks. im getting heads/intake gasket matched by engine builder soon, but ill mic them tonight and get the gaskets beforehand. thanks.
