Misfire around 1500 rpm

Weird problem with my '94 LT1, it's started occasionally misfiring under part throttle, always around 1500 rpm. Below about 1200 or above about 1700 it runs perfectly; full throttle eliminates the misfires, but it still sometimes feels rough in the affected RPM range. It's been getting worse over the last few days. No codes set (cleared codes with FreeScan and drove until misfire occurred, only code was MIL malfunction which is b/c it's not connected). Opti is an MSD unit, replaced 1.5 years and ~8000 miles ago. It doesn't really seem to match the symptoms in the giant LT1 stumble thread...any ideas?

I always read issues and the 1994 comes up more than others. My car has an issue where in lower rpm's i have to give it gas and wait for a full second or two for it to break free and then its great. The rpm's seem right but its hard to say. When i cruising about 50 and i want to accelerate the car seams to take forever to react so i believe something is wrong but what? I have torque on demand and it feels like the car can break the tires loose at low rpm but what causes this after the cars is at a higher speed? I have plans to replace the fuel injectors once it reaches 20 degrees so we will see if that helps.
