something recently went wrong with my car. it started making a ticking noise. it sounds like a lifter is stuck, so i am pulling it apart to check that out and to put my new cam in. i bought a gm847. my question is will this cam work well enough with my stock lt4 heads or do i need to get them ported. i will be running the 1.6 rockers so lift will be .575/.595. my build is in my sig and this is my daily driver. with the cam in it now it made power to 6700rpm so i figured they flowed pretty well but the lift will be a lot higher with this cam. old lift is .510/.520.
