i have a question for you guys using motorsport 30 injectors. this week i tried to install them and on my 95 lt1 the injectors have a solid round cut out space that the clip slides into on the rail clipes in and the injectors fit deep in the fuel rail these ford 30 injectors have a half groove where they are supposed to be mounted, but a little higher there is a solid circle like my stock ones but if i use that one it pushes the injectors real close to the outer edge, meaning the o-ring. wondering if there is a clip i need to modify or did you all use them with the top grove leaving the o-ring close to the edge. just afraid of fuel leaks. any info woud be appreciated

i did that. I am talking about the rail side. i did without the clips they slide up and down when bolted. you didn't use the clips then?

 

I did not use any of the stock style fuel rail clips on my SVO 30#'ers - they will not fit. Once you tighten the fuel rail down they aren't going anywhere.

 

Ditch the clips.

2 motors - 6 different sets of injectors - no leaks

 

I'm running the 30# Ford Injectors on my TPI system. The clips worked just fine.

 

I have had two sets of SVO 30s and one set had the grooves for the clips and the other didn't. I am not running clips now and I am not leaking.

 

when i instaled with out the clip.i coud push them down and the oring wood allmost come out .not good .just scared of them poping out .they are very close .sarey for the spelling i have deslexia .

 

X2! I didn't have any trouble with the clips either on the Ford 30#'s.

use the clips on the top grove geting a lot of pepel that are replying they are doing this.
