hello All, I have a 1994 z28 with alot of miles 174k. Just replaced Opti, coil, all plugs and wires, and even the ignition control module at that tune-up about 3 months ago and now this ahhhhh.

Any suggestions on sensors or things to check for , Im clueless rightnow, and everything is plugged in.

I start the car and it will drop to 500 rpm real quick then to 1600 like its cathching itself and shut-off.

other times it wills start and just turn off after 20 seconds if idle instantly

Also ever since it did this on friday the starter is now bad, it just spools up when I crank it sometimes, and others it will start so assuming the starter is bad too. Or any connection between the 2.

Check the battery to make sure it is OK. Sounds like it might be on it's way out. If it is OK, check the grounds.
